Course Description:   Are you mentally prepared for an active shooter event? Does your organization have strategies in place? Do you have the knowledge to defend yourself and those in your care?

If these answers don’t come to mind when you imagine yourself or a loved one in an active shooter situation, you are not alone. These terrifying instances have become a reality in our culture. Preparation is essential, and training is the key to survival. The ALICE Training is changing how schools, universities, places of worship, hospitals, and businesses respond to armed intruders. ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) is a set of proactive strategies that increase chances of survival during an armed intruder event. While no one can guarantee no causalities or injuries, we can guarantee that passing on knowledge will empower people with options of survival.
